Introduced in 2016, IWC Mark XVIII is a successor to IWC’s  previous Mark XVII. Coming from 41mm case of Mark XVII, Mark XVIII decreased the case size to 40mm. With the decrease in size, visibility(ability to easily read the time) and balance of the watch is being praised upon. As IWC declared in SIHH that 2016 is a year of Pilot watch, they released this Le Petit Prince as a edition watch. This used to be a Limited Edition watch but now it is just a edition watch. As a result, unlike the conventional Mark XVIII that had plane engraving, this watch embraces the logo of Little Prince in the back. Also, the Midnight blue dial of the watch represents the color and feeling of Little Prince very well. As this is still an edition model, Mark XVIII Le Petit Prince uses Santoni leather strap. Santoni is an Italian brand that is famous for their leather quality. This Santoni leather strap is often used in IWC’s higher end models such as PPC models, but this Mark XVIII edition embraces the Santoni leather strap that adds that much more elegance to it. In short, with the brand value of IWC and the use of a premium Santoni leather strap, this editioned watch is a truly unique timepiece with a great value.
